I really kind of like this stuff. After reading bad reviews of this product, I was rather surprised when I actually tried it. I've never used cream blush. I don't usually use blush or creamy face products. I won't be using it daily, but then I don't use blush daily.
I bought it in Lilac and Camilla. I think I like the color of Camilla better. It is a nice sheer shimmery pink. I spread a pin drop over my cheekbones and it looked like I had a nice healthy glow on my pale skin. It spread easily and it didn't feel sticky to me at all. Lilac is also a nice color, but it was a bit more pearly, I guess you could call it, almost kind of metallic. I spread it on a bit thicker and it did feel stickier. It also seemed more pigmented and difficult to blend. I think it will look better when I use less product. The package says use a pearl sized amount but I would think that would be too much for most people.
I don't know how I feel about the "sugar orange" fragrance. It is very distinctly fragranced, but it isn't really overpowering. Or maybe I just got used to it! I don't know if it will cause acne. I didn't leave it on very long because I wanted to try the other products. The package says it is oil free, won't clog pores, and hypoallergenic. I have to wonder how well this stuff will work with any other face products or foundation. I'm not wearing foundation today, but when I do it is a powder foundation.

Pros: sheer color, pretty shimmery pink color, inexpensive
Cons: be careful not to apply too much, haven't decided if I like the fragrance.

absolute and utter crap. i love a bargain, and some cheapie products have become holy grails for me, but the formulation of this product leaves *everything* to be desired.

it can be used on the eyes, lips and cheeks, but if you ask me, its not good for any of the above. the texture straight out of the tube is pleasant enough. it has the consistency of a slightly sticky gloss crossed with one of those mousse products that are all the rage right now.

as a lip gloss, it doesnt apply well. its very hard to get the pigment even, and it left me thinking that the formulation was best suited to the eyes and cheeks. wrong. its too sticky to use as a blush. the amount of pigment is good for this task, but if left me feeling like i had spread lip gloss on my cheeks. it never sank on and left a horrid sticky film that thankfully wore away within a few hours.

as an eye product, it creases horribly. i didnt expect that it wouldnt, so im not too upset about that. most eye glosses have more of a vaseline consistency. while that doesnt make for great staying power, at least its not torturously sticky on the lids like this was. there was not enough pigment for even a sheer wash of color to show up.

i really wanted to like this product, but its too sticky for the eyes and cheeks, and not sticky enough for the lips. im not too interested in trying any more elf products.
